19 Days of Halloween: Day 13

Ok. This has turned into a lesson in persistence. A public lesson, which is kind of the pits. My Halloweenie buddy got sick, and this weekend was not fun around here. But I’m back today with more fun Halloween activities! Sometimes when we take on these daily challenges and commitments, things don’t go as planned, but that’s okay. If you miss five days {or fifty} you can still pick up and move on!

So now, moving on to Spider Hands!

You will need:

  • Colored construction paper {1 sheet}
  • Pen, pencil, or if using dark paper, chalk
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue

What to do:

  1. Find a precious chubby hand to trace.

2. Trace both hands.

3. Cut both hands out. I let my little skeleton color with the chalk to stay busy while I cut.

4. Tape hands together with both thumbs at the top.

5. Glue googly eyes and decorate, color, glitter, whatever they want to do. Little’s a little young for many decorations, but he did color his spider with the chalk.

6. Give your spooky spider a web to dangle from and hang him somewhere as an adorable decoration! Ours kind of looks like a crab. Just noticed that. But you get the idea!

Have a Haunting Tuesday!
