Some sweet friends of ours threw a fun pumpkin-carving party on Saturday complete with delicious treats and prizes for the best pumpkin creation. I took the contest VERY seriously and spent all week looking up ideas for our pumpkins.
Travis did the carving…
I handled the artwork… {oh yes, these were mixed-media pumpkins!}
Little was in charge of the bull-dozing…
…and the …Bob-ing?
We settled on the fantastically creative idea {stolen from someone I found via a google search who I would love to give credit to…} of
Harry Potter and Tom Riddle’s house.
Check out the competition:
We had so much fun with friends and I loved putting our Aggie-loving youth minister to shame. No, we didn’t win first place but we did win second, and the prizes were awesome! I hope you all are enjoying this fall and Halloween season as much as we are.

I was reading through my grandmother’s church newsletter the other day and saw y’all’s name under the prayer requests. It does my heart good to know yall are in that church! FBC Olton will always be my “home church” because that is where my dad and grandmother grew up. I love it! Some amazingly sweet people there…and lots of family too. 🙂
Cimarron, I love our church too! Travis is actually the music minister there too now 🙂 Please send me an email and let me know who your grandmother is!!!
